4. Jimi Hendrix - Mannish Boy

5. Sublime - Santeria

#LP

Heavy on the albums this week! So vintage <3

6. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium

Frusciante left after this one, and nothing is ever the same. The saddest part is that I'll never get a chance to hear this band live with Frusciante. The sorrow is real...

7. Nick Drake - Pink Moon

8. Portishead - Third

Another trip-hop artist on the list. They started way back in 1991 in Bristol. Published two beautiful albums than disappeared in 1997. Then, out of the blue, in 2008 published their third album to universal critical acclaim, and than disappeared again. I'm still waiting for their fourth.

9. Goribor - Goribor

Goribor is a Serbian blues rock band from Bor. I personally am unable to listen to blues in general, but this is an exception to the rule (nod to the Committee). The music is blues-rock at it's finest and the lead singer Aleksandar Stojković (imagine Goran Bare with rougher life experience) has a thing or two to say. Unfortunately they have released only two albums.

10. Mad Season - Above

Album Above is the only album of the Seattle band Mad Season. Mad Season can be considered a super group form of Layne Staley (Alice in Chains), Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) and John Baker Saunders (The Walkabouts). This band could give so much more but John Baker and Layne Staley died in 1999 and 2002 respectively. They left the album that any grunge aficionado should listen at least once a month.

#Canidas

Canidas was a band from Gothenburg that released one LP titled Golden and disappeared shortly thereafter. It is a trip-hop masterpice that can stand shoulder to shoulder with another band on this same list, Portishead. The album itself is so obscure that there are only a few songs available on the interwebs.

11. Canidas - Tsunami Tears

12. Canidas - Asylium

#Outro

This song is the reason I wish they were still around.

13. R.E.M. - E-Bow The Letter feat. Patti Smith
